Jessica flake, founder
The designer behind Peckham Studio’s inspired spaces
Originally from Rochester, New York, Jessica’s passion for architecture and design began at a young age, sketching floor plans and immersing herself in the rich historic architecture of her hometown. Her journey led her to the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in interior design and studied art and history, including a formative study abroad experience in Italy that inspired her to pursue a Master’s in Architecture at Georgia Tech.
Jessica has since built a multifaceted career spanning over 14 years, with expertise in healthcare, higher education, hospitality, adaptive reuse, residential, and historic home renovations. She’s worked with internationally recognized firms and led community-focused projects, including mentoring Georgia Tech students through their Flourishing Communities Collaborative. In 2021, Jessica launched her own practice.
As a registered architect and interior designer, Jessica blends architectural precision with artistic vision to craft spaces that are as thoughtful as they are inspiring. When she’s not designing, she enjoys exploring Decatur with her husband and dog or renovating her 1920s brick foursquare home, a personal reflection of her love for timeless design.
